3 Healthy Summer Snacks You Need In Your Life!
Hello everyone! I took a couple of weeks off from posting but I’m back and today I am sharing my 3 favorite healthy snacks. I'm a huge snacker and I've gone through so many different snacks, the three I am sharing with you today are my current favorites, they are packed with protein & perfect for on the go, not to mention they taste like dessert (:
1. Oatmeal Cookie Dough Balls

Let’s start with my current favorite. I’m obsessed! These are so good and easy to make. Store in your fridge for up to a week (there so good they’ll be gone before then) or you can store in your freezer for up to a month!
Here’s how to make them:
3/4 cup of nut butter ( I used almond)
1/4 cup of coconut or oat flour
1/4 cup of oats
2 tbsp of maple syrup
1 tsp of honey
1 tbsp of vanilla extract
sea salt
chocolate bar
optional: protein powder
Mix almond butter, coconut flour, 1 scoop of protein powder of choice (I used Ghost nutter butter whey protein) and 1/4 cup of oats. Add in maple syrup, honey, vanilla extract, & some sea salt. Add in a couple of chopped up squares from a chocolate bar. Mix together & scoop into balls using an ice cream scoop.
That’s it! So easy and taste just like oatmeal cookie dough.
2. No-bake Protein Cookies

These are also really easy & perfect when you have a chocolate craving.
Here's how to make them:
1/2 cup of peanut butter
2 tbsp of maple syrup
1 tbsp of honey
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 tbsp of melted coconut oil
3-4 tbsp of coconut flour
1/2 cup of chocolate chips
2 tbsp of coconut oil
Mix peanut butter, maple syrup, honey, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, and 2 tbsp of melted coconut oil. add in 3-4 tbsp of coconut flour, roll into balls, press flat, & freeze for 30 minutes. dip half the cookie into a mix of chocolate + coconut oil and freeze for another 30 mins. store in the freezer. Enjoy!
3. Peanut Butter Cacao Bites

I love these and they taste like actual dessert. These probably take the most effort out of all three but are still super easy to make.
Here's how to make them:
Filling:
1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 tbsp of maple syrup
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
4-5 tbsp of coconut flour
Start with the filling. Mix all ingredients together!
Chocolate glaze:
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1 Ghirardelli chocolate square
handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Heat glaze ingredients on a small sauce pan untill melted.
Roll the filling into balls and let freeze for 10 minutes, once frozen dip into chocolate sauce and top with whatever toppings you desire & enjoy! I topped with a chopped up chocolate bar.
I hope you guys can find this post helpful and enjoy testing out these recipes! Happy snacking!
