SacTown’s Finest Breakfast!

When it comes to Sacramento and its food we are never short of our impressive lists of breakfast places!

A new aspect we will be adding to this site is doing review and rankings of the best breakfast places, best cheeseburger, dessert, and more! This is an exciting new addition that people can look forward to and take our word for it when looking for new places to eat. As we kick this off we would like to let everyone know that we would love for people to send us suggestions or places we do not mention in these posts! Contact us through the site, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or even email. If you also wish to see a ranking and review post of a certain category of food just let us know!

#5. 33rd Street Bistro $

3301 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95816-5329

3.8/5 Rating

Coming in at the fifth spot we have 33rd Street Bistro with an incredible atmosphere complimented with amazing service. Perfect place to grab some morning grub after a ride on the jump bikes, after a morning walk, or a new place to eat with some friends. Food comes out very quickly and is known for its great choices throughout its menu.

Suggestions: French Toast, Omelette, Eggs Benedict

#4 The Waffle Experience $$

4391 Gateway Park Blvd #660, Sacramento, CA

4/5 Rating

With a strong 4 spot, we have The Waffle Experience. Obviously known for their creativity with waffles in the majority of their meals but also complimenting them with AMAZING country potatoes. There are 3 locations such as Sacramento, Folsom, and Elk Grove. Friendly service as well as quickly served food ready to go.

Suggestions: Eggcelent, Chicken & Waffles, Sacramento King, Avocado Toast

#3 Crepeville $$

1730 L St, Sacramento, CA 95811

4.2/5 Rating

Who doesn’t love crepes? One of Midtown’s best spots to grab a bite and these crepes separate them from every other hole in the wall breakfast place. A very deep menu that gives you endless possibilities to get creative with you and your tastebuds and even have their potatoes overlooked at the fact that they bring many good sides to the table.

Suggestions: Nutella Crepe, Strawberry Crepe, French Toast, Banana Nutella

#2 Tower Cafe $$$

1518 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95818

4.5/5 Rating

Don’t even get me started on the endless possibilities on this menu! The location can be a bit tough for parking but it is very worth it! It may be a bit on the pricey side but the food makes you forget the check when you take a bit into their delicious french toast and potatoes, but let me tell you that ONE SLICE OF FRENCH TOAST IS ENOUGH. Tower Cafe has always had the reputation of being a top breakfast spot in Sacramento and will continue to be at the top of the list for a while.

Suggestions: French Toast, Vegan Options, Sante Fe Blueberry Cornmeal Pancakes

Bacon & Butter

#1 Bacon & Butter $$

5913 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95820-1841

4.8/5 Rating

When I tell you this place is the best in Sac I give you my word! The country potatoes? DOES NOT MISS! The french toast combo with eggs and bacon? GET ME A SECOND PLATE! The atmosphere here is like no other and to top it off with the service and how fast they get their food out is the reason why they deserve the number one spot. I’d say the top three were definitely the hardest to decide from but it really came down to Tower Cafe and Bacon & Butter, but let me tell you that you can literally taste the difference in a #1 and #2 spot once you try this place.

Suggestions: French Toast with country potatoes, BLT Benedict, Berkshire Pork T-Bone

Honorable Mentions: Iron Horse Tavern, Fox & Goose, Meat & Eat, Estelle Bakery, Four Sisters Cafe

This is an exciting new addition for our site as we get into the food scene and acknowledge the excellence of each food spot in or near Sacramento. Let us know if we missed any places, places we should try, or categories of food and dessert we should talk about.
